Overview
Empire Connect collects and processes information needed to run accounts, power garage and community features, support meets, merch and VIP experiences, send optional notifications, and keep the app reliable and secure.
What we collect
- Account information such as email address, username, user ID, and authentication-related records.
- Profile and garage information such as avatar images, vehicle details, specs, mods, photos, and build categories.
- Community content such as posts, captions, comments, likes, follows, and related media chosen by the user.
- Meet and participation information such as RSVPs, check-in activity, saved event preferences, and meet-linked content.
- Membership and commerce-related information such as VIP entitlement status, merch interactions, and order-related app records where applicable.
- Technical and operational information such as device token status for notifications, app logs, error details, performance signals, and app version context.
How it is used
- To deliver core app features and sync user activity across sessions and devices.
- To authenticate users, manage accounts, and support sign-in with email, Apple, or Google where offered.
- To store and display garage content, profile information, community activity, and meet participation.
- To support members, investigate bugs, protect the platform, and improve reliability and performance.
- To send relevant reminders and updates when notifications are enabled by the user.
Permissions and device access
- Camera access may be used for meet QR check-in.
- Calendar access may be used to save club meets and reminders.
- Notification access may be used for account, event, and community updates.
Service providers and platforms
Empire Connect uses third-party and platform services to operate the app. Based on the current app implementation, that includes Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend workflows, Google Sign-In for optional sign-in support, Apple Push Notification service for push delivery, and Apple StoreKit for VIP purchase and entitlement handling.
Payments and purchases
VIP membership purchases are handled through Appleās in-app purchase systems. Empire Connect may receive transaction or entitlement status information needed to unlock features, restore purchases, or confirm membership state, but full payment card details are handled by Apple.
Local storage and security
The app stores some information locally on the device to improve the user experience. This may include app preferences, cached app data, locally stored images, and app database records. Authentication tokens may be stored in the iOS Keychain. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Notifications
If notifications are enabled, Empire Connect may store a push token, platform information, bundle identifier, and notification preferences so the app can deliver selected notifications such as likes, comments, follows, and meet updates.
Sharing
Information may be shared with service providers that help operate Empire Connect. Community content and profile information that users choose to make visible in the app may be accessible to other users. We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to legal requests, or to protect the rights, safety, users, or integrity of the service.
Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain app functionality, support users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce applicable terms.
Tracking and advertising
Based on the current app implementation, Empire Connect does not describe itself as using app tracking for third-party advertising purposes. If these practices change, the privacy disclosures and App Store privacy responses should be updated accordingly.
User rights and account requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. Users may also be able to update some account and profile details directly in the app. Privacy questions, deletion requests, or account-related requests should be routed through the Empire Connect support process.
Children and policy updates
Empire Connect is not intended for children where parental consent would be legally required for use. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.
